LOTD; Skulls and Elephants

Hello lovelies! I'm in a good mood today because I've finished up a huge chunk of my assignments so I decided to blog~ Hehe. These few weeks have been hell trying to get everything done and I even ended up in an argument with one of my friends so it was a really shitty period but I'm glad it's almost over. 3 more assignments and I'm free! *throws confetti everywhere*

Yesterday, I decided to meet up with my pretties Cheryl and Ritchie for a quick brunch and also early birthday celebration for my wifey... We originally wanted to try out The Red Beanbag at Publika but it was packed.......... So we ended up going to Plan B instead www

I wanted to dress in something more casual because it's been really hot in Malaysia so I opted for a more street chic/ulzzang-ish look.

100% KPP World Tour in Singapore

Hello my lovelies! It's been ages since I've last blogged I know. I've just been swamped with assignments and school work and lots of other stuff... As well as being lazy. *laughs*

Anyway, I recently went down to Singapore to catch Kyary Pamyu Pamyu live at her 100% KPP World Tour in Singapore with Angie and Kidchan! The concert was really really amazeballs and I absolutely adore how cute and hyper Kyary was during the entire concert. Her backup dancers, especially... I really admire them for being able to dance so energetically and smile for the entire duration of the concert. I also got to shake Kyary's hand during the meet and greet.... But what I wanted was a photo with her. Maybe someday my dream will come true. *^^*

Musee Platinum Tokyo @ Malaysia

Hello lovelies, today I'm going to introduce to you a newly opened hair removal salon called Musee Platinum Tokyo! I first knew of it's existence when I was walking around Parkamaya @ Fahrenheit88, and being curious, I decided to google it and found out that Musee is the number 1 hair removal salon in Japan! O.O As you know, I am obsessed with Japan, and so after reading some reviews on the Musee branches in Singapore, I decided to take the plunge and try it out.

 photo 100786_b_zps56647598.jpg

As this is my first treatment at Musee, the results are not very clear yet therefore today I will only blog about my experience and the services they offer there. Musee is a hair removal salon that only focuses on hair removal, and therefore they do not offer other services such as facials or manicures, etc. Musee uses the Smooth Skin Control (S.S.C.) hair removal treatment process which is more effective than undergoing IPL or laser hair removal. S.S.C treatment is done with their special formulated wax and exposure to light beams. For more information on the hair removal process, you can check out their website or book yourself a FREE consultation session with them at any of their branches. Musee currently has two branches in Malaysia; one at The Curve and one at Fahrenheit 88 (The one I went to).

The consultation room; and my bag at the corner :x

I first walked into the salon and was greeted by a lovely Indian lady dressed in white. I asked if I could inquire about the services offered by Musee, and she happily obliged, guiding me inside to one of their consultation rooms. During the consultation, she gave me a cup of tea and taught me all about the hair removal process, as well as the hair growth cycle, etc. One thing I like about Musee, is that they DO NOT hard sell their products. I've encountered a lot of places where they keep pushing you to buy their products, and I really hate it. She explained to me the promotions they were having, and I finally settled on 12 sessions of Large parts + free unlimited underarm sessions for RM2587 (this is after discount as they were having opening promotions). Musee is also offering an unlimited underarms session for only RM288! Musee provides installments and so for those poor students (like me) who can't afford to pay the total amount in one go, therefore you can opt to pay for the total amount in 6 sessions which I did.

The treatment room; everything is white and clean!

After that, she led me to the locker room to get changed into a robe, and then it's time for my treatment! The treatment room was small but clean and pristine, only containing a bed, the S.C.C. machine, as well as a stand to put things on. I will not go into detail on the treatment because... you have to experience it yourselves, but basically they apply a really COLD gel on the areas you are being treated before they use the S.C.C. machine for hair removal. Halfway through the treatment, a Japanese lady entered the room and she said that she was here to assist the hair removal process, so it was done pretty quick. Suprisingly, the treatment is pain free so be rest assured for those of you who hates pain like me. You can barely feel anything, except a little sting and a little heat when the machine lightly touches your skin. Oh what we women go through for the price of beauty ww.

My Musee member card

I really like the service here at Musee, because the staff are incredibly polite. Like seriously, really polite. They speak in soft tones, and during the treatment they will explain every part of the process to you down to every last detail. Like "I am going to put a cold towel on your leg now" or "I am going to do this/do that now". And before they do anything, they will always ask you for permission to do it first. They also say "sorry" and "thank you" a lot. Like after you give them permission to continue with the process, they will thank you. This is seriously... Mind boggling! I've never encountered a place with such staff before! Maybe because it's a Japanese salon, and the Japanese are taught to be really polite so... I don't know. But I felt like a princess when I was there! And after the treatment is over, when you leave their premises they will greet you with お疲れ様でございました which is an extremely polite form of お疲れ様でした which are used in Japan towards people of a higher status than yourself, such as to your bosses or customers. So I was really impressed! I had a really enjoyable experience at Musee, and therefore I hope you will too! Please tell me your experience there if you ever decide to give Musee a try.

JRunway @ Singapore

Hello my lovelies! Recently I've been to Singapore during Christmas with my family as most of you might know, and I took this opportunity to visit JRunway at Plaza Singapore with Tung Tung! I've always wanted to go there and shop since they house so many Japanese brands I like including Emoda, WEGO, Algonquins etc so I was really excited!

JRunway; the place where dreams come true

Truth be told, when I first saw photos of JRunway's shop online, I was expecting it to be a little.. more spacious? Not that I'm complaining though I think it's big enough as it is... It's just that in my initial expectations I thought it'd be a little bigger ahaha.

Lots of neutral tones this season!

 Make-up galore /o/

Make-up corner where you can buy make-up and also apply them! So useful! Imagine if you were late and needed to rush out from your house without make-up... You can then simply drop by and do your make-up here! They even provide you with make-up products to use omg!  (´∇ノ`*)ノ

I thought it'd come out of this store broke but surprisingly I didn't spend much this time! I only bought a really cute vintage sailor top from f.i.n.t and a kawaii black lace cat headband! Pictures in my next post! See you soon! Bye bye (/•ิ_•ิ)/

A 'Plasticky' Christmas

Hello my lovely readers, it's been a while. In a blink of an eye... It's already 2013! I can't really believe that a year has gone by so fast! Where has my youth gone?! www  ヽ(;▽;)ノ

As you all know, Christmas and New Year has just passed recently, and I met up with the Plastics for a mini Christmas gathering and dinner! (The term Plastics refer to a group of my very close and awesomely vain friends who kept switching names from the Anything, Whatever group to 2 Wet 4 Dry... And a lot of other nonsense until we settled for the Plastics because most of us have been accused of doing plastic surgery before... LOL) Anyways, we all met up (minus Shin because he was MIA) at TGI Fridays for a Western meal since Christmas calls for Western food...? I think.

Mine is the Royce Chocolate that I bought in Singapore two days before and it suffered a 7 hour car ride back to Malaysia and another 4 hours of class the next day... Thank god it didn't melt LOL :x

I received the huge box of Hello Panda in exchange... Which is both a good thing and a bad thing because I love Hello Panda..... But I have too many snacks at home already...... Eating it all by myself is going to make me obese wtf. Why did you do this to me Lavence?! (/゚Д゚)/

All the Christmas presents I got from my friends this year!(〃・・〃)

Thank you Cheryl for Bambi and the letter, Maygan for the Body Shop gift set, Tung Tung for the Hot Chocolate drink, Moe for the floral ring, Angie for the earrings, and Lavence for the Hello Panda exchange gift! Love you guys so much (´ ▽`).。o♡

Photobucket

Hello, it's me again. (●´∀`●)

It's been ages since I've blogged anything due to my laziness and my general lack of interest in life. I've started blogging ages ago, when I was 12 years old and was first introduced to the blogosphere by one of my primary school friends. At that time, my blog was used as a medium for me to vent my frustrations and anger and feelings because I can't do so in real life. I also have a habit of not being able to stay put and just complete something till the end be it in my life (eg; piano/guitar/organ/french lessons all of which I stopped halfway) and also in blogging where I've switched countless blogs till now.

At one point of time in my life, I stopped blogging for my own pleasure and instead, I wanted to become a 'famous blogger' like Xiaxue and Cheesie and Qiu Qiu too. I wanted fame, sponsored items, being invited to events, etc. Then along the way, I realized that blogging for the sake of that... Was not fun at all. Blogging became a chore that I didn't want to do anymore. Recently, I've decided to blog for my own sake again. Of course it'd still be nice if I can become famous *laughs* , but that won't be the main focus of my blog anymore. Instead, I'm going to just post whatever I feel like posting whenever I want to.

To all the readers that have supported me through the years, be it one person or a hundred, I've decided to delete all my old posts and start anew. Maybe most of you would have lost interest by now, but I'll be really happy if you all decide to follow me through my journey once again.

いつもありがとうございました!( ̄个 ̄)
