Last Saturday, I attended my college's prom! >3< I was anticipating it a lot since I have never been to prom before and I thought it'd be like super fun but.... It wasn't. Oh well.
The food wasn't really that good and I was expecting better since it was by Hilton after all :<
I did have fun dressing up and hanging out with my friends though. Keke <3 The theme was supposed to be Oscar Night but I didn't bother and went for a more "floral princess" kind of feel instead. 8D

I was camwhoring in the toilet while waiting for Angel to arrive. She ended up at the wrong hotel so I had to wait for like... an hour or so. OTL I just sat at the hotel lounge and pretended to play with my phone while waiting for her lol. It was really boring but then suddenly an old British guy with shopping bags passed by and went "Good evening! You look very beautiful today!" which probably lightened up my mood considreably. xD;; /slaps self

I also got nominated for Best Dressed even though I didn't win haha. But it's good to know that I was one of the three most nicely dressed girls in prom? Two of the nominees, myself and Ashley are from HS2 (my class) so it shows that my class has style! Keke. Would you believe me if I told you I had a feeling I was going to be nominated before prom even started? LOL. /gets killed by angry mob
Anyway after staring at photos of my coordinate now... I feel like it wasn't really anything special. Maybe I just stood out because of my wig and the flowers in my hair.... OTL I'm not even sure if my sense of style is really that good www.

I think Ashley's dress is really nice and sparkly but it's something I'd never be able to wear since I'm flat chested and I can't justify spending over 800 bucks on my prom dress which I'll wear only once. Pretty and colourful shops *____*
Summer Tavern (the place I stayed at) was located near Clarke Quay and it's a really pretty place with a nice lake but I didn't have time to explore it. :(

On the second and final day of my Singapore trip to AFA, I decided to hang out with Emily and we went shopping! /o/
The malls in Singapore are seriously amazing. They're connected to each other underground so you can just keep walking and walking and you will be able to visit different malls without even getting out into the sun! SO COOL!!!! ;A; It's like shopping heaven... Especially for a shopaholic like me. I want to migrate to Singapore now OTL
We met up at the Orchard Road MRT and our first stop was the Tyan boutique which houses my favourite Vivienne Westwood items! v(^____^)v There were a lot of pretty items but I didn't buy anything this time because nothing really attracted me.
Emily brought me to a Japanese sweets buffet which was amazing! For a cheap price of SGD11+ you can eat like any desserts they have there for a period of one hour. And since I'm crazy about pastries and confectioneries, these kind of buffets are of course the best!
Crepes crepes crepes!!! Best ones I ever tasted!!! Love x100000!!!
They served the awesomest crepes there with delicious vanilla ice-cream. I ate two plates <3 I wish I could have eaten like 5 but I ate lunch earlier so I was kinda full :< I want more crepes!!!!
I absolutely adore the cream puff and strawberry tart! <3 The mango parfait was a little... "Blah" to me but honestly I never liked parfaits much.

The purikura machines in Singapore are so much cooler than the ones in Malaysia! You can like practically do photoshop surgery on yourself with these machines by adding on eyelashes, a new nose, etc. XD Even though it requires a lot of attention and if you're not careful your photo might turn out really twisted OTL

Haha I was busy shopping at Watsons at Changi airport the first day while I was waiting for Chiko and Randy to arrive. Their flight was 2 hours later than mine so I had plenty of time to kill and I ended up buying all these stuff @@
Mori-esque coat and cute print sweater
Bought these really cute items at Bugis which is like... My favourite place in Singapore now. They have a lot of shops selling Mori Girl items (although most are similar) and cute Korean stationery, unique clothing, etc etc. I wanted to buy a lot of stuff there but I stopped myself since the exchange rate for SGD is twice the amount of RM so things are a little pricey. I'm so proud of myself for not going into a shopping frenzy! Lololol xD

Honestly, this trip wasn't as fun as I thought it'd be. :< At first I was really hyped up and thought that it'd be like... a really awesome event but it was just kind of mediocre...?
Maybe it's also due to the fact that I wasn't able to fall asleep the night before the event. I stayed with Chiko and her boyfriend at the Summer Tavern which was a backpacker's hotel and that place was rather... bad. I got my allergies again the night I went there after not getting it for months but luckily I brought my medicine along with me. My nose was runny and I kept sneezing too probably because the place was dusty. :(
Not many photos this time because I was lazy to take out my camera and most of the photos here are taken from other sources. >3<
I did get to watch The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya movie during the event though which brightened up my day considerably. 8D I missed the Gundam 00 movie because it was shown during day 1 and I only went for day 2 www. My Setsunaaa ;<

Sadly we weren't able to enter as the line was really long and we were tired of waiting and Cappy had to leave early. My mission of visiting the butler cafe during AFA has failed! *sniffles*
I also didn't get to meet Kaname because I was too lazy to enter the event hall. OTL All I did was sit in a corner all day hanging out with Dai and the gang. My Kaname-samaaa :'(

Hanging out with my friends during the event made it less boring. We went for dinner and ice-cream together too and made up a new ice-cream combination that tasted like hospital medicine haha. 8D

I changed halfway through the event cause I was tired of cosplaying and ended up camwhoring again. @@ While I was camwhoring some random photographers asked for my photo even though I was already out of cosplay and wearing normal clothes. :X I don't really like it cause honestly my casual coordinate for the day wasn't that impressive and not one I'd want to see in photos but oh well.

Okay I lied. This is a pre-written post which I wrote on Friday night before leaving to Singapore for Anime Festival Asia where I can hopefully meet Kaname (the super awesome and sexy Cloud cosplayer from Japan) as well as visit the butler cafe :<
(I still don't know what I should pack to bring there since the weather is currently very unpredictable but I heard there might be heavy rain so my shoes will get dirty again like the last time FML)
Anyway I don't really have anything much to blog about right now so... Please patiently await my posts after I come back from Singapore!

Anyway, it was the first time I got to experience shooting in a studio so it was really fun! And also the discovery of the super cute unicorn in the studio=more fun!!! :D :D :D

Even though I don't look that good in glasses, but I'm a natural nerd so I like to show these kind of sides to myself in photos, unglamorous as they are. I'm the kid who stays up till 6am playing MMORPGs or reading novels till dawn. Very exciting I know. Don't you just wish you were as lifeless as I am? ;)

Uniqlo a no-go? Monday, November 8, 2010 @ 6:18 PM So after being totally hyped about going to the launch of Uniqlo's first store opening in Malaysia for the past week me and Angel decided to go check it out on the day itself.
Of course I brilliantly underestimated the Malaysians and thought "Oh, there wouldn't be THAT many people you know? So we can like come at... 1pm or something." Oh boy was I wrong.
When we arrived at the scene it was like... A frenzy of people queuing up for miles and miles and miles and... miles. It was that scary. Seriously.
There were so many people that they even needed security guards for crowd control D:
The crowd that strectches for miles from outside the mall to inside the mall.
So anyway we decided to give up since it was a hot day and we're too lazy to queue so we went to Topshop and Forever 21 at Pavilion to shop instead. =3=
I ended up buying a really cool t-shirt with a skull motif and piggy socks at Topshop as well as a new militaryish jacket, flower hairband and panda hat from Forever 21 so it wasn't a complete waste of my day after all. :D

My coordinate for the day. :) It's not the typical-gothic-moitie ensemble you usually see. Even I have no idea what to call it lol. Aiko said it looked sweet. Really? 8D I chose my sleeveless loli blouse from Kidsyoyo because the weather is (STILL) hot. Myuu~ When will it ever turn cold enough here? *sniff*
While I was waiting for Valho and ZZ to finish taking photos for the Kuroshitsuji group in Full House I was busy trying on all the clothes, sunglasses and accessories they sold there. xD Yes, they sell clothes in the lifestyle cafe. And everything is so cute too! How cool is that? <3
Tried on this cute bolero and thought it suited my outfit quite well so I bought it OTL
And yes, my headpiece for today is rather... lacking? I originally wanted to wear my crown but it got crushed in my bag and I have no other black headpieces TAT *has to stock up on some*
I like this cute hat hahaha. Even though the shape of it is weird but somehow when it's worn it looks cute. :3
