First of all I would like to wish all my Malaysian readers a very happy Merdeka day and Selamat Hari Raya! ☆*:.｡. o(≧▽≦)o .｡.:*☆

It's the festive season once again and everybody's outside celebrating while I'm here in my room updating my blog (I have a sad life I know). *laughs*

Anyhow, I was invited by Kuzu-nii to tag along for my incredibly beautiful and sexy and gorgeous friend Arisa's cosplay photoshoot of Hone Onna from Jigoku Shoujo last Monday so I could finally learn how to use a DSLR properly instead of just using "automode" even though I've been using DSLRs for like... years. ._____.

Originally the shoot was supposed to like start at 6.30am but because I kind of woke up late (sorry!) and because it was also raining so the shoot got postponed to like... 9 something ww. (It was really scary to wake up to 55 miss calls on my phone LOL)

This is my first time taking photos for a shoot so comments and critiques are very much appreciated~! ><///

Korean Music Wave 2011 (part 1) Thursday, August 18, 2011 @ 5:56 PM

I finally got my lazy ass moving and edited all the photos I took at Korean Music Wave 2011~! Yes this is like a super belated post since the concert was in July but...... Oh well. *coughs*

For those of you who do not know, KMW 2011 is a KPOP concert that was held in SG that had ten groups of KPOP idols in attendance. Yes. TEN. It's that epic. The artist lineup included FT Island, Touch, X-5, Dal Shabet, The Boss, U-Kiss, Miss A, Teen Top, and...... BIG BANG AND 2NE1!!! *spazzes like crazy* ♥

I'm very thankful to my darling Linaria for helping me purchase the tickets (mosh pit tickets ftw) and her friends also came really early to line up for the concert so I could watch my beloved idols at a really close distance! I was like... around the third row from the stage? Super close! Except there was this ridiculously tall guy that stood in front of me and blocked my view half of the time. *grumbles*

Unfortunately many of the photos I took that day were rather blurry because I couldn't sneak my DSLR into the concert venue so I used my mini compact digital cam instead. :'(

Now onwards to the photos! (For all you fangirls out there please do not nosebleed all over my page ^^)

Queuing~ This is the "first batch" aka the early birds!

I spent like 4 hours here stoning while waiting for the concert hall to open but I guess it's not that bad compared to my other friends who waited for a longer time just to be here! (cause I like woke up at 12pm then came here to cut the queue :x)

Seriously this is the first time I met her in real life! Originally I became friends with her through Aika because we were in the same guild and stuff and I discovered she was a fellow V.I.P and we started talking about this concert and stuff and well... It ended up this way. Love her max hehe!

I love watching FT Island perform!!! Hongki's voice is like seriously amazing and I love how the entire band performed live and they are all so goodlooking and and.... >///<

TOUCH; A new rookie group that had like flashing LED lights on their jackets while they performed! (not in this photo)

Dal Shabet; I really like their debut song Supa Dupa Diva! Super adorable!

X-5; another rookie group with super tall members and cool dance moves.

The BOSS; I only know their Japanese songs so I couldn't really sing along to their KPOP ones but they are so freaking shota looking and cute and... ;3;

TEEN TOP all dressed in yellow. Neil has a face like a porcelain doll wtf.

It's Miss A!!! This is like the second time I'm watching them perform live and they are like seriously good. I love Jia and Min and Fei and Suzy!!!

While Miss A were performing Suzy came to my part of the stage and she stood like directly in front of my row like wtf omg!!!! *inserts happy fangirl scream*

And the eighth group to perform was U-Kiss all dressed in pure white. *Jiii* Can you guess who are the two remaining groups left? 8DD

Recently I've been taking Japanese classes at ICLS~! ♪

I used to take Japanese classes at my secondary school a long long time ago but because it had clashing schedules with my French classes at the time plus the fact that I didn't really like the teacher that was teaching us Japanese so I stopped after a while. But since I have plenty of free time right now so I thought I'd take it up again! ^^

I bought many cute notebooks and a cute mechanical pencil with a cat charm on it for class! *laugh*

I really like my teachers at ICLS because they are all Japanese plus they keep changing teachers for every slot so I won't get bored looking at the same face over and over again! I also got Angel to join me so I wouldn't be bored there all alone. Learning Japanese is really fun! /o/

Taking notes in Japanese. I am secretly obsessed with staring at the hiragana I write because it's so cute and tiny! ><///

I'm almost done with memorizing all the hiragana letters! Next is katakana and then someday.... kanji! Dun dun dun. Hopefully I'll be able to finish learning Japanese up to the advanced level before I start my degree because I won't have any time to learn anymore once I go to university ww

My goal is to be able to watch anime without subtitles someday as well as being able to read Japanese magazines without translations! Wish me luck! Ｏ（≧∇≦）Ｏ

私わ失敗です。でもこれは私のせいだから、私は絶対泣かない。涙はだめです。

So I got back my A Level results today. And let's just say..... It was a horrible big failure. I have no one but myself to blame because I was too confident in getting As without studying for so many exams. It was also my fault for being so obsessed with Aika I even continued playing when everyone else was getting ready for the papers. It's my fault for being so lazy. Therefore I guess this is my wake up call to reality? Or more like a huge slap to my face. But either way, as the saying goes, pride comes before fall. I've learnt my lesson.

More than being disappointed with myself, I felt more sad at disappointing my parents, especially my father. He spent so much money sending me to a "good college" in the hopes that I will excel but the results that I've gotten for my A Levels are less than satisfactory. I didn't fail but... I didn't get a single A either (even though my Economics was 1 mark away from an A #@^^$%$^%*#). Anyhow, I just feel really bad right now. I wish I could turn back time and do this all over again, but life doesn't work that way does it?

From now on, I'm going to try my best to study for my degree, whatever it may be. It will be hard, since I'm the kind who hates studying the most in the world, but I will try. This is my promise to myself. Before I ruin my life even further.

PS: Please don't bother to reply to this post. I just want to get these feelings off my chest. I don't really need or want words of encouragement or whatever. Thanks.
