The condition of my skin has been deteriorating lately due to the intense changes in the Malaysian weather nowadays from hot to cold to hot but mostly it's just really really hot. I used to have a blemish-free face when I was younger but as I grow older I seem to have more and more acne problems. :'( So today... I went shopping after my Japanese class for skincare products! Soap&Glory Sit Tight RM85; Soap&Glory Glow Lotion RM29; Soap&Glory Glad Pits RM25 My new favourite brand of body and skincare products; Soap&Glory! Decent prices + cute retro packaging... What's not to like about it? [From top to bottom] SHILLS Anti-Acne Essence Roller RM55; Hello Kitty Face Wash RM39.90; Masks @ RM12.90 each; Spring Heart Eyelashes RM19.90; I Heart Badges @ RM3 each Bought all of these from Stardust Wink; a shop located at Fahrenheit88 that sells TONS of make up products from Japan! They also have a huge wall pasted with Tsubasa Masukawa's face so if you're a fan of her you should totally visit this shop! ;D Spring Heart; a new line of eyelashes by Koji. Shu Uemura eyelashes; the top one is RM50 and the bottom one costs RM60 Honestly I have no idea why I even bought them cause they are so unpractical for daily use but I can't resist cute stuff! The top one has like silver stars dotted on the eyelashes while the bottom one has lots of gold glitter and gauze on it! u___u I also bought some make up brushes from Sephora and M.A.C but they look boring so I'm not going to post any photos of them. :x And lastly, camwhore photos! After make up class. Does it look like my make up skills have improved? Labels: purchases When life gets tough, join a marching band Friday, September 23, 2011 @ 10:30 PM *inserts random title* Today is an extremely happy day. I went to buy some make up brushes from Sephora and M.A.C, went to my make up class, came home and saw that my packages have arrived (1 containing lots of pretty clothes and another 1 with cute stationary and stickers), then received a call from 8tv Quickie informing me that I won two tickets for the Korean Music Wave 2011 concert in Malaysia tomorrow. Life is good. ;) The entry I submitted for the contest. Jacket-Balmain inspired from Taobao; Dress-Topshop; Tights-Offbrand; Boots-I-Socks It was a contest to dress up as your favourite idol performing in the concert so I took inspiration from my bias (TOP from Big Bang) and randomly threw a coordinate together in like 5 minutes. Totally rushed because the contest only had a deadline of a few hours but I hope you like it! ^^ Can't wait for the concert tomorrow! I get to watch my beloved Big Bang members perform again! Except Daesung and Taeyang won't be there... TT I hope I get to watch them perform as 5 again someday ww Lunch @ Jogoya Tuesday, September 20, 2011 @ 5:03 PM It's been a busy week filled with attending farewells as my friends are all leaving to pursue their studies in the UK while I'm still here... rotting my life away in Malaysia. Which was my own choice by the way so I can't really say anything about it. The remainder of my friends who decided to stay in Malaysia have also started their degrees which leaves me... all alone. Which was also my choice because I didn't want to start my degree so fast so I'll end up graduating later than all my friends and I'll be an old granny by the time I finish my Masters. :'( But that's not really what I want to talk about here. The main topic here today is... once again... about food. I went to Jogoya at Starhill Gallery with my friends recently for their lunch buffet which was awesome and had like 2816391064 kinds of food and you can like sit there and just eat and eat and eat for 4 hours straight for a *reasonable okay maybe a bit pricey* price of RM78++ per person. (honestly I can't remember how much we paid that day so I'm just quoting the price from the website). Unfortunately, if you've been expecting for tons of yummy food photos, you'd be sorely disappointed because I was too busy eating to actually take any nice shots and mainly because I suck at food photography and the lighting at Jogoya was kinda crappy. Anyhoo~ The main reason I went to Jogoya was for the free flow of Haagen Dazs ice-cream! Who cares about western or chinese or japanese or malay or indian food or whatever all I care about is the ice-cream! Muahahaha *_________* What I ate for the day; a plate of sushi + a plate of fried rice + a plate of Japanese curry rice + a plate of cakes + 10 scoops of Haagen Dazs ice-cream. Yes. Ten. I'm an ice-cream maniac. ;) ;) ;) ...Just imagine this same photo 10 times and you'll be able to imagine how much ice-cream I ate. Lol. Me and my partner in crime. *points at the empty bowl of ice-cream* Everybody acting silly after eating. Camwhoring in the toilet like any respectable lady should. ...And lastly our group photo. ^^ I ate so much I felt like I gained an extra 5kg that day. I hate buffets. ヽ(o`皿′o)ノ Labels: outings Tokyo Street @ Pavilion Wednesday, September 7, 2011 @ 12:33 AM Finally found time to pop over to Pavilion to visit Tokyo Street after Japanese class with Angel and Azri to see what the hype over it was all about. I can't really say that it was *that* interesting since it's mostly Japanese restaurants and a few other random assorted shops (why are there no shops that sell Japanese fashion?!? *pulls out hair*) but yeah. It's better than having nothing I guess. Especially since I'm not allowed to set foot in Japan till like 10 years later thanks to my family's obsession with radiation and whatnot. :'( The whole "street" was really cramped and small; either they wanted to recreate the whole Tokyo scene or they just ran out of space to build the shops. Lol. Luckily when we went there on a Friday there were not many people or we'd probably have been squashed like sardines during the weekends ww. Me and Angel. Taken during Japanese class /o/ The huge signboard announcing the number of shops in Tokyo Street Ohai we are at Tokyo Street right now :D Had Tori Katsu Don at Tokyo Don for lunch. It tastes kind of normal so I can't really justify paying RM26++ for it =3=/// Shimino Crepes!!! Nom nom nom ♥ Sadly my ice-cream inside the crepe fell halfway through while I was trying to tear away the paper wrapping FML :< Camwhoring in the toilet. And yes, I did notice the "no photography" sign on the mirror LOL (which is not shown here cause I cropped it away keke). After walking around we got bored and so we went to watch "Cowboys And Aliens" which was by the way a horrendous and huge failure of a movie that made no sense at all whatsoever so I advice you guys not to watch it. Ever. Unless you have an obsession with cowboys. Or aliens. Dinner at Michelangelo's with Azri and Angel~ Love eating carbonara cause it's creamy but I dislike eating bacon. Can't they put some other meat on it? TAT Pouting cause I'm broke after spending so much money on food :'( Coordinate of the day sans shoes; And yes I'm not very good at tying bows .___. Usamimi-Bonita; Top & shorts bought by my dad in China; Bag-Momoe; Shoes-Marie Claire PS: I want to eat red bean mocchi from Mocchi Sweets @ Tokyo Street! It was sold out the day I went there. Someone please buy some for me? *sad face* :x Labels: daily outfits, outings |
